Hello I’m Alister Chapman, welcome to wild-weather.com. From this site you can follow my travels around the world in search of the ultimate storm. I am a professional film-maker that specializes in capturing natural extremes on High Definition and 3D video. I have one of the largest specialist libraries of weather stock footage and regularly help production companies from around the world get close up and personal with natures full fury. I have filmed over 56 tornadoes, witnessed hail the size of grapefruit, experienced temperatures as cold as -36c in the Arctic and blazing desert sandstorms and heat. I am based in the UK but spend many months on the road, traveling the world in search of the ultimate storm. As a professional cameraman with 20 years of TV experience I aim to produce images of the highest possible quality from some of the most hostile environments on the planet, bringing the incredible power of mother nature into living rooms all over the world.
